- Strategic realignment for educational non-profit in Washington, DC that matches children of the city’s poorest ward with tutors who are professionals in various industries
- Board governance at non-profit that promotes global citizenship among America’s high school and college students
- Board governance at grassroots movement in Washington, DC for unity and understanding among people of different religious traditions
Multinational Corporate Sector:
- Launched most successful celebrity luxury fragrance lines in history that redefined marketing, branding, image-building advertising and sales strategies. Won Fragrance Foundation Award.
- Hired as company’s first non-European senior manager: led a major European media/telcoms multinational company to launch new M&A businesses in US, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece and Portugal. Launched new business lines generating more than $250m in revenue growth.
- Designed American media/publishing company strategy to identify and roll out new joint venture and partnership strategies. Grew company’s ad sales by 30%, circulation by 20%, three magazine property revenues by more than US$10 million.
- Conducted market studies and managed product launches for US and European media and telecoms companies collaborating with multi-functional, international project teams. Established new Marketing/Communications systems and Human Resource policies in Asia, Europe and US.
Multilateral Institutions:
- Led the development of innovative tools to bring citizen voice to the public sector reform process, improve responsiveness of government to citizens, decrease corruption and improve transparency and accountability – “Service Delivery Surveys” (SDSs) at the World Bank
